Open Roles at Aura & Form

Three positions open across the Paris and Copenhagen studios. We hire slowly and we tell you where you stand at every stage, including when the answer is no — a fortnight of silence is not something you should have to interpret.

Interior Architect, Mid-Weight

Running two to three residential commissions at a time from concept through to site, reporting to a studio lead. You will own the technical package on your own projects, which on our jobs means the joinery drawings as well as the plans. Five years minimum in residential interiors, and a portfolio with at least one project you detailed yourself and saw built.

  • Paris, France — full time
  • 52,000–68,000 EUR per year
  • Applications close 2026-11-30

Millwork Detailer

Producing shop drawings for our cabinetmakers and resolving the details that come back from the bench. This is a drawing role and not a design one, and the person who is right for it will already know that those are different jobs. Experience with a real workshop, on either side of the drawings, matters more than years.

  • Copenhagen, Denmark — full time
  • 46,000–59,000 EUR per year
  • Applications close 2026-10-31

Lighting Designer

Specifying and commissioning circadian lighting schemes across the studio portfolio, including the parts of it that are outside our twenty cities. Roughly a third travel. You will be the only lighting specialist in the practice, which means the work is yours and so is arguing for the budget it needs.

  • Paris, France — full time
  • 58,000–74,000 EUR per year
  • Applications close 2026-12-15

How our hiring runs

A portfolio and a paragraph about which project in it you would do differently now. If that reads well, a half-hour call with the studio lead you would report to, then a paid day in the studio on a real problem from a live job. We pay for the day at your day rate because it is work, and we tell you either way within a week of it.

  • Portfolio and a short covering note to studio@auraformdesign.com
  • Half-hour call with the studio lead for the role
  • One paid day in the studio, on a live problem
  • A decision within a week, whichever way it goes
