04. Studio Philosophy & Vision

We Craft Spaces That Breathe

Founded in 2014, Aura & Form is an international interior architecture collective bridging Scandinavian functionality with traditional Japanese wabi-sabi principles. We believe that true luxury lies in restraint, spatial proportion, and raw organic materiality.

Architectural Tenets

The Four Pillars of Aura & Form

1. Tactile Honesty

We never fake materials. Real honed travertine, brushed solid oak, and breathable lime wash plaster carry physical permanence and age gracefully.

2. Spatial Rhythm

By lowering furniture silhouettes and concealing storage behind shadow channels, we allow rooms to feel twice as expansive.

3. Layered Warm Light

We avoid harsh ceiling grids. Diffused cove illumination and 2700K warm temperatures mirror circadian natural daylight.

4. Restraint & Peace

Every object must justify its presence. Uncluttered visual planes reduce sensory noise, nurturing mental calmness.
